Dolce^® 'Wildberry' Coral Bells Heuchera hybrid

I planted 3 of these 2 years ago and they have survived 2 winters and are just beautiful. The purple glossy leaves are very attractive and the plant is perfectly round and mounded. They get 6 to 8 hours of sun and show no signs of sunburn. I highly recommend them and they were proven winner's.

I purchased 9 of these to frame our front beds. They were gorgeous the first season. Sadly, they all look mostly dead now. We are in Zone 7A or sometimes 6B. Hoping they rally the next month. Several have no leaves at all, but tiny purple starts at base, We followed all instructions, planted on North side of our home in a mostly shady area. Mulched this fall and amended with compost. Sad, this was a big purchase for us and so pretty. I have other varieties of Coral Bells that look really great. Sadly, wild berry my favorite looks very tough.

L'heuchère Wildberry est une des plus belles plantes vivaces que j’ai cultivé. Même si j'ai planté cette plante en zone 3, elle survit et réapparaît avec des feuilles toujours aussi belles. Les seuls défauts sont que certaines feuilles perdent leur couleur et deviennent grises, surtout après les gels printaniers, mais moi je les coupe. De plus, en temps pluvieux, les limaces et escargots sont très attirés par la plante, mais il suffit de mettre un appât pour les éloigner. Wildberry heuchera is one of the most beautiful perennials I have grown. Even though I planted this plant in zone 3, it survives and reappears with leaves that are still just as beautiful. The only flaws are that some leaves lose their color and turn gray, especially after spring frosts, but I cut them. In addition, in rainy weather, slugs and snails are very attracted to the plant, but you only need to put bait to keep them away.

Beautiful Wildberry Heuchera was doing really well but apparently the deer loved this plant more than I did and they ate the top off it. Hoping the plant survives and rebounds. Absolutely love heuchera's and plan on planting more of them!
