Second year growing this plant, and it's a true winner in my book. A small mop-head hydrangea for those with smaller space, it's a perfect fit for small spaces in-between shrubs and in open spaced in front of the flower bed. In my first year, winter killed the plants to the ground, so I was pretty disappointed, but accepting that I would not have any blooms that year. Typical of my area as the late freezes often kill off the flower buds from macros in my area. But to my surprise, the new growth emerging from the base of the plant had buds! So even with the complete die-back, I still had blooms and the plants did not skip a beat. This is the new staple of my garden.

The reblooming hydrangea that really does!
Let's Dance® Blue Jangles® is a big-leaf hydrangea that blooms on both old and new wood, with a tight, compact habit that is unusual among reblooming hydrangeas. Large, full flower heads will readily go heavenly blue in acid soils; in alkaline soils, they'll be vivid pink. This proven performer will bloom reliably even in zone 5.
Top three reasons to grow Let's Dance® Blue Jangles® hydrangea:
- The only truly compact reblooming hydrangea.
- blooms on old wood and new wood, so you get more flowers over a longer period
- large flowers readily turn a deep blue in acidic soils

Big-leaf hydrangeas benefit from a good layer of shredded bark mulch to keep their shallow roots from drying out. In colder climates, they should get at least six hours of sun, ideally in the morning; warm climate gardeners should ensure plants are shaded during the hottest parts of the day.
Fun Facts:The Let's Dance® series of reblooming hydrangeas were developed in Michigan. They went through a gauntlet of brutal treatment to ensure that they would still create new wood flower buds during the growing season, when it counts.

Love these let’s dance blue jangles hydrangea’s. So many huge deep beautiful blue blooms. Wish I could add a photo. Thinking of where I could put more than the two I put in the ground in March!!!

This is the start of the fourth season for "let's Dance Blue Jangles" It gets full sun, and is right next to my concrete driveway and brick sidewalk. It was blooming when planted and was gorgeous the first year. The second and third years were even better. At the start of the 4th year I am still in awe. I was actually thinking of pruning the old stalks but after reading on your website I may forgo the prune. It is coming along just fine. I was worried about the harsh winter sun, and possibly warming and growing too soon this spring. It may get a light fertilizer as I love the 'blue' flowers. It has fulfilled my wishes to have a smaller plant.

I purchased two this year and I was very disappointed with the plant’s performance itself. I placed the two amongst another brand hydrangea and the Let’s Dance Blue Jangles look floppy and sickly. And trying to work with the plant on color was a nightmare. Although I followed instruction on soil acidifier (and this is not my first rodeo) my other hydrangeas turned a beautiful color while my Blue Jangles stayed hot pink. I tried everything to make them look as good and as healthy as the other hydrangeas with no success.

I bought a small 1 or 2 gallon size of this plant in my local Lowe’s store last year and planted in a very shady location—perhaps only getting 2-3 hours of sun in late afternoon in my zone 7a. I was not hoping for much flowering at all, as hydrangeas do need enough gentle light to bloom well. But this year it had quite a few buds already, like 10 or so in its first flush. Considering its small size, this is more than I had hoped for. I am not sure how it will rebloom this year as most of my other hydrangeas took 2-3 years to establish. But by its performance so far I would say this is a rather sturdy plant with good flowering potential. Recommend for small space and not very desirable light conditions!

This is the first year with this plant i'm sad that the stems flop, the bloom is to heavy for it. I hope next year it gives me a better performance and the stems become stronger.

Truly outstanding. I bought two at my local garden center and planted them in a pair of large containers on our deck. Within 48 hours, one had been se merely damaged in a terrible rainstorm when a gutter overflowed and crushed the plant. I was heartbroken BUT the plant sprung right back, has put on all sorts of new growth, and is thriving! It is even filling g back out and getting its beautiful shape back!!! I have no doubt that by next su mer, it will be perfect again. Other notes: beautiful leaves and leaf color, strong stems, large and stunning blue blooms that last and last. I am delighted with these plants and would highly recommend!

I just unpacked and planted my gallon size Let’s Dance Blue Jangles. What a gorgeous plant. There are already buds and the leaves are a rich dark green. I couldn’t believe you could get such a beautiful plant by mail order. I will be getting more in the future! Thank you!
